Basic terminologies in Excel
We have two different ways of excel usage:
Excel Formulas
Excel Functions.
1. Formulas
Excel formula is an experession which operates on values in a range of cells or a cell.
Example:
if we find sum of the range of values through A1 to A3, we would do following
=A1+A2+A3
2. Functions
The are predefined formulas of excel.
Example:
If we have to some the same range throught A1 to A3, we do the following using sum function
=SUM(A1:A3).
This would sum the values from A1 to A3.
